Our mission is to bring intelligence, integrity, and truly individualized value-added investment management and advice to our investors. We disregard the agendas of Wall Street and the giant firms that dominate the industry. Our financial professionals allocate, manage, and monitor client assets unlike the typical advisor’s one-size-fits-all management approach. Our investment goals are to consistently achieve reasonable returns on investments over time based on an investment policy statement and plan specifically created for the individual client. The investment policy statement considers the lifestyle, goals, risk tolerance, time horizon, and successors of the investor. We prefer consistent and reasonable to sporadic and extreme. Our selection process favors recognition over discovery.

Tax and Financial Advisor
David P. Griffith
David Griffith joined Black Stone Partners in January 2020, transitioning with him the investment advisory practice he built over the prior 25 years. Dave is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified financial planner (CFP) with a strong tax background. Dave attained his CPA certification early in his career, while working for eight years in the tax department for a Wilmington CPA firm, where he focused on individual income taxes. During the next seven years, Dave worked in the Trust Tax Section of Wilmington Trust Company, where he gained a working knowledge of fiduciary income taxes and estate planning. Recognizing the interrelationship between taxes, investments, and other financial matters, Dave obtained his CFP certification and went on to form a firm that provided these services to individuals on a fee-only basis. The desire to gain backing and resources from a larger firm that also puts the clients’ interests first is what led Dave to align with Black Stone. Tax preparation and planning services continue to be provided independently through David P. Griffith, P.A.
Dave enjoys horseshoes, running, and biking. Dave and his wife, Audrey, also like to travel – with extra enjoyment gained from visiting their two adult children.
